The Nandom Municipality is scheduled to participate in the nationwide Next Generation Leadership Training programme for members of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) today and tomorrow, 9th and 10th September 2026.

The two-day customized training, organized by the Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS), is designed to equip Assembly Members with the competencies required to effectively perform their representative, deliberative, legislative, executive, and oversight functions.

The programme forms part of efforts to strengthen the capacity of Assembly Members and promote informed and effective local governance.
