An audit entry conference was held between the staff of the Nandom Municipal Assembly and the Audit Team from Lawra to formally commence the audit exercise. The meeting brought together management and key officers of the Assembly to outline expectations and ensure readiness for the audit.

During the conference, the Audit Team explained the purpose of the audit, emphasizing its role in promoting accountability, transparency, and effective financial and administrative management. They also outlined the specific areas to be audited, including financial records, procurement processes, and administrative controls.

The Audit Team further explained the various steps involved in the audit process, from entry meeting through fieldwork to reporting. Officers were informed of the documentation and information that would be required at each stage.

Finally, the Audit Team called for the full cooperation of all officers to facilitate a smooth and successful audit exercise. Management and staff of the Assembly acknowledged the explanations and assured the team of their maximum cooperation throughout the audit period.
