On Monday, June 10th, 2024, the MCE, Hon. Raymond Nero, paid official working visits to two communities: Tom and Kambaa. The visits came in response to a downpour the previous night, leading to a leakage at the Tom Dam and an increase in the water level at the Kambaa Bridge. Currently, work on the Kambaa Bridge has been paused until conditions are favorable for its continuation. To address the leakage at the Tom Dam, the MCE promptly informed the Ghana Irrigation Development Authority in Wa and the Agriculture Department in Nandom for assessment and subsequent repairs.
