On the 24th of March, 2022, the Nandom Municipal Assembly held its first ordinary sitting of the General Assembly for the year to elect a Presiding Member for the Nandom Municipal Assembly since Hon. Mrs Anacleta Viiru Naab’s tenure had ended. The position was contested by Hon. Sylvester Isang and Hon. Patrick Noyuoro and Hon. Sylvester Isang won and was subsequently sworn in as the Presiding Member for the Nandom Municipal Assembly for the next two years.
