On a Sunny Monday, May 15th, 2023, the Municipal Chief Executive and Municipal Education Director were all smiles as they made their way to Domangye Kindergarten for a follow-up visit. Their mission? To hand over some top-notch educational resources to the new school, which included “My first Copy’ books, literacy guide books, and color pencils just to mention a few.
This show of generosity was all thanks to Honorable Raymond Nero, who generously dug into his own pockets to make the purchase based on staff requests. As the learning materials were handed over, Hon. Nero urged the school staff to use them well and implement the best teaching practices to ensure these kids receive the best education possible for their future success.
The Education Director added to this by promising to hire a new female teacher to support the existing male staff, and pledged to assist in identifying and resolving any other issues that the school may face.
To wrap up the visit, the MCE promised frequent visits to the school and encouraged the authorities to reach out to him whenever the need arises. After all, the quality of education and the future of these kids rank high in his list of priorities.
