On Thursday, July 20th, 2023, a team of six members from the Ghana Highways Authority's survey department embarked on a visit to the Municipality. Their purpose was to conduct a comprehensive survey for the design and immediate dualization of the Nandom Highway Roads. This exciting project entails the construction of a two-kilometer stretch starting from the roundabout located at the bustling Central Business District, all the way to the esteemed ST. Theresa's Hospital. Additionally, a further two kilometers of road extension will continue from the roundabout to the Ghana Immigrations Check Point on the Segru-Bu stretch.

During a brief dialogue with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), the Honorable Raymond Nero, the team leader expressed the significance of the survey in providing a clear blueprint for the project's implementation. By mapping out the road infrastructure beforehand, this meticulous process guarantees a successful undertaking. As part of their meticulous approach, sturdy control pillars will be installed on both sides of the roads, with each pillar strategically placed approximately one kilometer apart.

The team leader assured the MCE that the executed work will uphold an unwavering standard of quality, reflecting the aspirations of the honorable Member of Parliament, Hon. Ambrose Dery.
