(AGRIC 2023) MCE SUPPORT FARMERS WITH WEEDICIDES AND WALLINTON BOOT.
The hardworking and dedicated Hon. Raymond Nero, MCE, took the time between July 4th and July 6th, 2023, to actively engage with stakeholders in their respective electoral areas within the Municipality. This incredible endeavor included connecting with influential figures in Ko, Puffien, Baseble, and the Nandom zones.
The primary objective of these stakeholder engagements was to gain a deep understanding of their expectations for development. Moreover, Hon. Raymond Nero aimed to tackle immediate challenges and meet the pressing needs of the people he represented. In a remarkable demonstration of support, he distributed much-needed weedicides and robust Wellington boots to aid farmers during the ongoing farming season.
During the engagement, the residents expressed their concerns about broken down boreholes and the lack of meters in their homes. Some also requested to be connected to the national grid. However, they expressed gratitude to the Hon. Member of Parliament and the government for their efforts in road construction, extending electricity to their communities, and providing water, among other developmental projects.
In response to their demands, the MCE explained that the contractors have run out of materials and meters. However, he assured the residents that the MP is actively pursuing a solution at the Ministry of Energy to acquire the necessary materials and allow the contractors to resume work.
Before leaving the area, the MCE made a brief stop to inspect the ongoing road construction work funded by the European Union. The road connects Guo Gbangbala to Guo JHS and continues to the Ko-Domwin roads.
Keep an eye out for further updates on the inspiring journey of Hon. Raymond Nero, as he leaves no stone unturned in his relentless pursuit of a better future for all.
