REPORT ON HON. MCE RAYMOND NERO’S VISIT TO THE VARIOUS B.E.C.E EXAMINATION CENTRES IN THE NANDOM MUNICIPALITY

The Swift responses and exigent attending to disaster occurrences in the Nandom Municipality by the Hon. MCE, Raymond Nero has being a force to reckon with since he was instated to be in the helm of affairs.
His recent visit to the Tempele Community on Tuesday, 4th October, 2022 was with the efforts of paying a short visit and also to inspect a low land area where water from the Black Volta had overflowed into. This was a follow up to a communique released by the Water Resources Commission some few weeks back cautioning; the upstream level of the Bagre Dam was at 234.88m and if the current rate of inflow continued, they may commence the spillage of water from the Bagre Dam.
In his company, were the NADMO Director and his able team who assured community indigenes especially farmers of taking further actions to salvage the situation through proper flood management in order not to destroy their crops.
The Hon. MCE together with the NADMO team then visited the Airport Area in the Nandom Township to commiserate with some victims who had had their three (3) bedroom house been raged by fire owing it to an electrical mishap.
The Hon. MCE made some cash donations to the victims and assured them of some household items to partly relieve them of the trauma the fire had caused.
