On the 16th of September, 2022 the Hon. MCE, Raymond Nero made visitations to Naapal, Kogle and Vapore Communities respectively. This was in respect of monitoring ongoing projects in the Municipality under the auspices of the Hon. MP, Ambrose P. Dery.
Hon. MCE’s first visitation was to the Naapal Community where a Kindergarten block had been completed and ready for its commissioning. He was happy to see the progress of work and commended the contractors for a good job done. His further interactions brought to fore some needed materials to help achieve a suitable interior décor. He later met with some community members who touted him for the continuous developments the community was benefiting under his reign.
He engaged the youth of the community by creating their indulgence to be at peace with each other no matter the differences in clan affiliations. He said they living in harmony, would attract a more positive image amongst other communities in the Municipality.
Hon. MCE made a brief stop at the Kogle Primary and JHS where walls of a classroom block had broken down with its roof taken off due to torrential rains a night before his visitation. He met with the Head Teacher and staff of the school who implored to some challenges the school was facing hence, would need his immediate assistance for their continuous delivery of progressive and quality education to the pupils..
Hon. MCE assured treating their request in a speed of light in order to hasten an enabling environment for an all-inclusive excellent service delivery to the constituency..
His next visitation, was to the Municipal Library to again inspect a tree felling disaster due to heavy rains. He was overwhelmed by the nature of incident and quickly called on the Municipal Works Engineer to fix the situation..
Hon. MCE Raymond Nero’s final visitation was to Vapore to inspect the construction of a Nurses Chips Compound for the community. On his arrival, the On-going project had had the involvement of indigenes who were eager to see to the completion of the building awarded the contractor..
He thanked and urged them on. He later visited the chief of the community which finally brought his community visitations to an end.
