On 14th September, 2022. The Hon MCE, Raymond Nero in the company of the Municipal Education Director, Municipal Coordinating Director, Some Senior Staff and Heads of Department and Unit visited the BU, Tantuo and Domangye communities with the mission to inspect sites and cut sod for the commencement of Kindergarten schools projects and completion of Nurses CHIPS compounds.

His first engagement was with the Chiefs and people of the BU Community. His address was to trumpet the intended developmental projects the Hon. MP Ambrose Dery had delineated in respect of giving the community a continuous facelift. In that regard, he said in consultation with Chiefs, elders, and the Hon. Assembly Member came to an agreement to apportion a vast land for the construction of a 1No. 2-Unit Classroom Kindergarten Block Office and Common Room with 2-Seater KVIP Toilet and Urinal, Court Yard and Furniture in Classrooms, Office and Common Room.

He further, visited the designated site led by the Community Leaders, Works Engineer, Building Contractors, and Planning Officers to cut sod for the project. The project duration of completion he said, would be 6-12 months.

Hon. Raymond Nero, then proceeded to Tantuo community to inspect an uncompleted Nurses Chips compound building where its progress had been halted due to lack of funds for its completion. The construction and furnishing of the 1No. Chips Compound with 2-Seater Water Closet and 2-Seater KVIP Toilets would cater the easy accessibility and basic health needs of the people in the community.

This was received with much joy from community members, reps from the Health Directorate and nurses present at the gathering as they were poised to deliver standardized healthcare services to the people after its handing over and when in full operation.

The Hon. MCE last visit was to the Domangye Community to again, inspect site and cut sod for the construction of another 1No. 2-Unit Classroom kindergarten block office and common room with 2-seater KVIP Toilet and Urinal, Court Yard and Furniture in Classrooms, office and common room. This was to service the community with the best KG infrastructure so to enable a progressive and quality basic education.

In his final address at Domangye to bring his communities’ visitation to an end, he said the Hon. MP’s vision was to build a transformed municipality through quality education and developmental projects hence, he would encourage all and sundry to play a key role to make his vision a feasibility.
